The Drunken Sailor Socks were first written in Finnish as a member pattern for the Finnish knitter’s association that publishes the webzine Ulla. Hence the Finnish version is only available on the Ulla member page. The English version is available in my Ravelry store.

These socks were named after the sea shanty “What shall we do with the drunken sailor”, as the cable meanders tipsily down the leg and along the side of the foot. Suitable for 4 ply sock yarns and available in 3 sizes, one pattern fits most knitters.
