Once upon a time a baby blanket wanted to be created with solid stripes. As time passed the stripes became blocks. They couldn’t be ordinary blocks, because they got invaded by purls.. Before we knew it the tiny purls organized themselves into cute little rows which reminded us of little ducks in a row.

This blanket is knitted in a solid color and is mostly created in garter stitch, with sections of stockinette that give the illusion of striped blocks. The blocks are different sizes and are arranged to form a cute yet simple blanket.
