What a wonderous sight to see the wand duel that ensued between our favourite boy wizard and his evil nemesis.
Spells erupted from the tips of their wands, and intertwined as they raced towards each other….

Duelling Wands comes written in 16 sizes (from small newborn to approximately 10 years of age), and is written for 8ply/DK weight yarn.

CONSTRUCTION
Duelling Wands has you cast on at the neckline, and work flat forming a squared neck line. You will continue working the chest and reverse stocking stitch cabled sleeves in one piece until you reach a specified chest stitch count. From here the arm stitches are put on to waste yarn, and the body finished in the round. Once the body is completed, the sleeve stitches are returned to the needles and worked in the round, with the cable travelling the full length of the sleeves.

SKILLS REQUIRED
backwards loop cast on
knitting small circumferences in the round
long tail cast on
simple cables
working top down raglan construction
If you are not familiar with these techniques you may need to reference a knitting guide book, or view videos on the internet.

Cables are both written and charted
