dulse is a type of purple seaweed that washes up along the shores of the bay of fundy. it’s also a delicious salty snack after being dried in the sun. you have to be careful to wash off the extra salt and debris though! every once in a while you might find a small rock hidden in its yummy strands. the lace rib travelling up these boot cuffs mimics those wavy strips.
