The textured hat is designed double layered and will be great for cold weather. Front Post Puff Stitches (instructions included) create a really fun texture for the outer hat, the simple lining will add warmth.
The external hat is made of 2 strands, and 1 strand used for the lining.

Skill level: Intermediate

Materials: Sport weight yarn (CYCA #2)
Color A 100 g one skein
Color B 100 g one skein

Gauge:
4 in/10cm = 11 sts = 7 rows in dc with larger hook (2 strands together)
4 in/10cm = 22 sts = 17 rows in hdc with smaller hook (1 strand)

Notions:
Yarn needle for weaving in ends and attaching pom pom.
Cardboard for making pom pom.

Skills necessary:
Previous experience in working post stitches.
