New! I’ve uploaded the pattern as a .pdf to Ravelry to make it easier to keep the pattern handy.

I wrote this pattern for Cherry Tree Hill’s Fingerpaints design contest in 2010. The pattern didn’t win, but I wanted to share it.

It’s a very simple pattern, producing a textured diagonal ribbed sock. While I had added in plain ribbing at the top, one could knit the socks without it as the stretchiness of the diagonal rib will keep the socks up nicely.

Errata: If you printed/downloaded the pattern prior to 06/05/2011, the heel instructions are missing Round 4: slip 1, purl back. The blog pattern is now fixed. Sorry for that mistake!
