The Duo Dishcloth adds a pop of color to your kitchen and makes you eco friendly at the same time. Crocheted dishcloths can be washed dozens of times and just gets better after each wash. I have used my first crocheted dishcloths since 2019 and they are still going strong! I love to make new dishcloths out of yarn left from bigger projects, and they are of course also great to use as washcloths. In addition they make great gifts when visiting friends and family. What is not to love with reusable pretty items?

This pattern is great for any crocheter, it has pictures showing each step and can be a good challange for an adventurous beginner as well. You will learn how to change color without cutting the yarn and how to make crossed double crochets (US terms).

Yarn:

Svarta Fåret Tilda Bamboo (50g/140m; 50% Cotton/50% Bamboo).
Two skeins of Tilda Bambu are enough to make 4–5 dishcloths.

1 x color 845 red
1 x color 848 cerise

You can use any other thin yarns, suitable for crochet hook 3.0mm, made of cotton, linen or bamboo to crochet these dishcloths. Preferably do not use a mercerized cotton yarn, they do not absorb as well as non-mercerized yarns. If a thicker yarn is used, the dishcloths will not be as flexible and dry very slowly.

Hook: 3.0mm.
