When designing the garments for the Cricket Collection, we considered the nature of the yarn: the woolen spun, single ply authentic Donegal tweed blooms and softens after blocking and the tweedy nubs add color and texture that looks stunning in stockinette and slightly softens the stitch definition when knit in colorwork or lace.

The end result of our efforts is a six piece collection with modern details and fit paired with classic techniques. We hope you enjoy it!

Durrow is an oversized dolman pullover worked in pieces from the bottom up.

Dolman increases are worked at the underarms to shape the sleeves. Short rows shape the shoulders. When working the front, the neck shaping is worked simultaneously with the short row shaping. We recommend you work the back piece first, as it will help in conceptualizing how the front is worked.

The sweater is finished with a 3 needle bind off at the shoulders and mattress stitch to join the side seams. Stitches are then picked up to work the collar and sleeve cuffs in the round.
