Knit entirely in garter stitch, this asymmetrical triangular shawl also gently curves to form a crescent shape that can be wrapped around the neck several times. The ends are long enough to tie it with a knot. Because the knitting starts at one end, you can stop anytime, bind off and end up with a useful neckerchief, shawlette, or shawl. Dusk is a perfect project to relax in between more complicated ones, also very suitable for beginners.

TIP When you reach Row 16, if you wish to check your count, it should be a multiple of 8 plus 5 (ie, first row 16 = 13 stitches, second row 16 = 21, 3rd = 29, and so on).
