Dusty Skies

As the third windiest city in the nation, Amarillo’s average wind speed is 13.3 mph. Somehow that number seems a tad low considering we can experience 50 mph gusts at times. Seriously, it never stops blowing. Ever. It is also a very dry climate, we’ve received 19.33” of rain in the last two years-combined. So, you can imagine, the sky can sometimes be a bit… dusty.
