When Sylvia of Wol met Verve dyed me this beautiful speckled yarn i knew it had to be a shawl in half brioche but in the easy way I learned as a child.


YARN
4 skeins Wol met Verve, Vigorous DK (100% superwash merino, 115 gr-252yds/230m). Sample shown in color: Roadmap, 981yds/897m used.

Or any DK/Worsted weight yarn: approx. 897-1006yds (820-920m).

MATERIALS
24” (60 cm) circular or straight needles
US 8 (5 mm).
US 6 (4 mm) for BO.
Stitch marker, tapestry needle.

GAUGE
In half brioche pattern 18 stitches x 32 rows), blocked = 4” x 4” (10 cm).
Gauge is not crucial at all, but will affect final size and yardage.

FINISHED DIMENSIONS
Approx. 88.6” (225 cm) wingspan along top edge x 26.4“ (67 cm) width.

ADJUSTMENTS
Shawl is easy adjustable.
