Certainly cute, these little lovelies can also be deadly. E coli bacteria can be found in animal waste, unwashed produce and even in unclean water and can make you very ill.

Why not place a little squeaky bacterium next to your sink as a cute reminder to your family that they should wash their hands? You can knit one up in a couple of hours, so why not make your very own special brood of critters to brighten up your lab?!

The ButterflyLove pdf E. coli Bacterium knitting pattern gives you clear step by step instructions to make your own little collection of bacteria.

This pattern only involves knitting flat and is suitable for a beginner/intermediate knitter. You can also contact me at any point if you need technical advice or have any other queries.
