Covered with spiraling faux cables, this classic children’s vest is sized for 12 months through 12 years and is worked in worsted weight yarn. The Eamon makes a great layering garment for girls or boys!

Vest is worked from the bottom up beginning with the lower body which is worked in the round to the armholes. Chest pieces are then each worked flat separately and joined at the shoulders with 3-needle BO. The collar and armhole edges are picked up and worked in the round in 1/1 rib. The mock cable pattern may easily be worked without a cable needle.
