I am so grateful to all the first responders who are reporting to work everyday. They have been working long shifts and constantly wearing face masks to keep themselves and others healthy. With the constant use of the face masks, the elastics have been causing chafing, which as you can imagine is causing a lot of discomfort. I had a friend ask if I could make these and of course jumped at the chance to help.

I am sharing the pattern with you in hopes you would consider donating them to your local nurses.

How to use:
The purpose of these are to help save your ears from the pain of the face mask elastics. Instead place the elastics around the buttons.
