Pure wool with large earflaps and elongated neckline. This must be the hat to keep your child’s head warm in winter.

The hat measures 46 cm / 18.1 in around and 26 cm / 10.2 in from crown to braid. It is photographed on a seven year old.

What you need is four double pointed knitting needles number 6 (US 10), a crochet hook number 6 (US 10), a tapestry needle and about 105 yd / 96 m of yarn.
