East Neuk Hoodie
While living and working in Scotland, Kristen couldn’t help but be inspired by gansey patterning everywhere. Taking a basic hoodie design and working knit-purl combinations up the front and back, including the hood, creates an easily wearable classic sweater, complete with seed-stitch elbow patches.
Sizes 32 (35 1/2;, 38 1/4, 41, 45, 49 1/4)“ bust circumference; shown in size 32”
Yarn Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash (100% superwash wool; 220 yd 201 m/100 g):
#1969 heather, 8 (9, 10, 10, 11, 12) balls
Gauge 23 sts and 34 rnds = 4” in St st
Tools
Size 3 (3.25 mm): 24-40” circular (cir) needle, depending on size you are making, and set of double-pointed needles (dpn)
