The Eastbank Capelet is the ideal layering garment for when warmer days start to transition into cooler evenings. The capelet starts with two ribbed sleeve bands which are set aside, the body is then started from the bottom up. The ribbed sleeve bands are then added into the body, and then the capelet is worked in raglan style decreases to finish. This simple jacket uses clever shaping which is hidden into the diamond lace pattern, making this a flattering silhouette for a range of shapes and sizes. A large collar is worked and folded over for a clean, simple and modern finish. Close the band of the jacket by sewing on an optional buckle-type closures or simply use your favorite shawl pin as a fun closure instead.

Uses 8 (10, 12, 14, 16) balls of Capra.
