The easy access romper sports a ribbed collar that covers the back of the neck and a decorative chest pocket. To make dressing and diaper changing easier the romper features a bottom opening button band for easy access. The romper is worked in a raglan style while maintaining the ribbing of the collar through the back and front. The romper’s body is done in plain stockinette. After the gusset increases the gusset stitches are bound off and each leg is worked separately. The legs are worked flat until the indicated inseam is achieved. Next the leg stitches are slipped to scrap yarn and the front and back button bands are worked. When the button bands are finished the stitches for one leg are slipped back to the needles and the cuff is worked for each leg.
