Easy Aran design featuring 2 cables - a simple cable and a braid cable. The cables repeat over 6 and 12 rows and the pattern is easily memorized.

The design is appropriate for both boys and girls and makes a beautiful heirloom design that can be passed through a family of children.

The 2 x 2 rib treatment is edged with a nice rolled edging.

The sleeves are worked only in seed stitch.

The neckline features a button closure so the pullover will be easier to pull over a child’s head.

Minimal shaping - only sleeves and front neckline making this a good choice if you are more of a beginner knitter and new to cabling. It is still a fun project for more advanced knitters.

Sizing is generous - Finished Measurements are 20, 24, 28, 32”.
Models shown are on a 7 month old baby (small) and a 3 1/2 year old girl.

5 (6, 8, 10) skeins of Color By Kristin worsted weight Wool/Mohair/Alpaca.
