You can do so many things with a basic crochet hood!

I added big wooden beads onto the braids of mine to give it bit of a Bohemian vibe. I really love my basic hood pattern because it is not flat at the back, however instead, it sort of butterflies out and around the shoulders, so that there is no bulkiness behind the neck. This pattern is super easy! It consists of half double crochet, chains, and a bit of reverse single crochet for the border.
