Here’s a nice and relatively easy and quick pattern for a crochet purse - or clutch, or evening bag. Granted this pattern is easy for someone who already knows how to crochet a chain, single crochet, and a double crochet.

This is made in double crochet, using 4 strands held together of crochet thread, size 10. This is a great way to actually use up all that uber thin I-need-magnifying-glasses-to-use-it crochet thread sitting around the house. Or it’s a nice reason to go and purchase some of that really pretty crochet thread sitting in the corner of craft stores that no one seems to buy anymore. If you prefer, you can use a lighter worsted weight yarn instead, or raffia, or a nice nylon cording.

Plus in the video I show you an extremely easy way how to hand sew in a zipper and a lining. You only need very basic hand sewing skills for this (I promise!)

This is a nice, quick and easy project for summer, or a wedding, or any special occasion. And be sure to check out the YouTube help video from yours truly (Naztazia®).
