Crochet bandanas or triangle head scarfs are great travel accessories. They calm your hair when time for grooming is scarce.

You will need ~40 g (1.5 ozs) of medium weight yarn and a 5.00 mm hook. You could also consider working it in a suitable ribbon yarn.

The simple lattice stitch makes this a quick and easy project because the half double crochet stitches are worked in the spaces between stitches.

The height of the bandana is 8.75 inches and the width at the front is 20 inches. Because it is worked from the back peak you can crochet as many rows as necessary – child size to large adult.
