The Easy Hole Structure Polo Cardigan is a slightly oversized cardigan worked from the top down in a hole pattern. The hole pattern is created by making decreases and yarn overs. The cardigan has ribbed edges and a polo collar.

Gauge: 16 stitches x 20 rows in the hole pattern on 5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm.
Needles: 5 mm circular needle (40 + 80 cm) + 4 mm circular needle (40 + 80 cm)
Yarn alternative 1: 1 strand of Hobbii Friends Wool (50g=100m). You will need 9 (9) 10 (10) 11 (12) 13 (13) balls.
Yarn alternative 2: 1 strand of Drops Lima (50g=100m). You will need 9 (9) 10 (10) 11 (12) 13 (13) balls.
Yarn alternative 3: 1 strand of Sandnes Double Sunday (50g=108m). You will need 9 (9) 10 (10) 11 (11) 12 (13) balls.
If you want to make a striped version, you must divide the number of yarn balls by 2 to get the number of yarn balls you need in the base colour and the number you need for one or more contrast colours. However, you will need 1 (1) 1 (2) 2 (2) 2 (2) balls extra in the base colour (for the ribbed edges) than the contrast colour.
