This makes a lovely scarf. No one needs to know that it’s super easy to make! Even though it’s a large weave, it really is warm and is buttery-soft. Plus the Lion Brand Suede is reasonably priced and easy to find. Any chunky yarn would work.

I used huge US size 17 needles, cast on 10 sts, and then just knit all rows (garter stitch) until the scarf measures 60”. That’s it!!

It makes a great quick-knit gift or a perfect project for beginners. I make lots of them in the fall and winter!! Recipients have told me they like that they can wear it with both dressy and casual clothes.
