Knit in a needle size at least two sizes smaller than ball band suggests, and knit tightly. Pattern is adjustable to fit any sized teapot, but the yardage requirements will change. The first thing you will do is knit a gauge swatch and proceed from there, a la EZ.

The original pattern calls for two colors of thick, preferably wool yarn in a checkerboard pattern, for a double thick insulating cozy. One skein each of two colors in the recommended yarn will probably be enough yarn, as used in the featured project.
