This is one of the designs which will be featured in the Up The Allotment shoot for the charity book Aspley Collection e Book 1 due to launch in June 2012. Aspley Guise Lower School have a massive task of having to raise £80,000. Its a massive project so I have joined forces with Cascade yarns and Rico Design to produce this book which I really hope you will like.

This design has some real benefits for you mums that know what its like for your child to have growth spirts so I have put this design together to cater for this and for adjustments to be easily made.

The design starts from the waistband, so you end up with a cast off edge at the shoulders and also a cast off edge at the bottom of the skirt so you can easily make length adjustments.

You have a cast off edge on the cuff and cast off edge on the top of the sleeves so you can make quick alterations there.

The bands have the cast off edge at the bottom and you have options so you can easily adjust the length of the bands.

The Vegi’s are made separately and are fun to make using oddments of ecological yarns.
There are more Up The Allotment Shoot Designs to come followed by Woburn Abbey all for this book so watch out for more designs being loaded on over the coming weeks for this book

If you would like to be kept up to date with the book’s progress do fill in the submission form on my home page http://www.mypdfpatterns.com and we are only too happy to keep you up to date.
Also feel free to view The Stables shoot utube video which shows more designs to be featured in this book

This book will also be available as an e book as well as a hardback.

This particular project takes 2 skeins of Ecological yarn. You make the leaf tabs separately and then using very simple grafting technique produce this really fun 3D fabric. Its a fun project.

You will also find just some of the designs featured in this book on my slideshow on my press and PR page. Do feel free to take a sneaky look and hope you can all support us. The children from the school will be monitoring the activity so do feel free to comment if you like.
