Designed in collaboration with eco-stitch. Diane offers a free mini skein of a CC (in a big range of colors), together with the original Eco Linen sport yarn here

This summer top/sweater is probably my most fun and experimental top-down knit :) … Inspired by an interesting read about Derrida and deconstruction in Architecture and Fashion.

The pattern has 3 sleeve options included: Sleeveless (ECO1), short sleeves (ECO2) and long sleeve (ECO3).

Pictures of the sleeveless and short sleeve versions are unblocked

ECO 123 is worked seamlessly from the top-down. After the collar is worked and partially folded, the yoke is shaped asymmetrically by short rows and increases. Then the shoulder sts are placed on hold and you work front and back (both alike) for the length of the armhole depth. Underarm stitches are cast on, and you join front and back again to work the body in the round. After the body is completed, sleeve stitches are picked up to work one of 3 sleeve options.
