The body is worked by knitting the bottom lace edging in one piece for backs and front. Then stitches are picked up along one edge of the edging for back and front body to be knitted in one piece on a circular needle to armholes. Beads are threaded onto the yarn first and a graph is given for the bead pattern. The same lace edging is made at cuff and neck. Sts are picked up along the back edges for the buttonhole band.
