From the pattern description:
The hatchling and egg requires approximately 20g of DK (8 ply) for the egg, 30 g for the hatchling, and remnants of black yarn for the eyes. Also requires one 10 cm long zipper. Hatchling requires approximately 30g of filling. The egg, containing the hatchling, measures approximately 14.5cm tall and 10 cm wide.

The hatchling stands approximately 9 cm high and 21 cm long. Written pattern with assembly diagram.
