Description from book:
The beautiful simplicity and smoothness of eggs have always fascinated me, so much so that I had to include an egg in this reversible collection.

The small egg knits up in no time; the bird is just as easy, with only a few extra pieces to add on. However, I thought the egg looked kind of lonely sitting on a table by itself, so I knitted up a a quick little double-seed-stitch nest with an optional picot edging. It’s the necessary touch to make this set complete.

Suggested Colors: 1 skein of Natural #1000, Opal #2026, Amber #6122, Agate #8014, and small amount of Slate #2215

Reversible Egg turns into Bluebird, and vice versa; also includes Nest.

Finishing instructions:
After the egg and bird are finished, place the egg inside the bird’s body with the wrong sides facing each other. With a cut length of yarn on a yarn needle, whipstitch around the opening to attach the egg to the body. While you are stitching the openings together be sure to stretch the fabric so it is not too tight at the seam, you will need some flexibility to turn the toy inside out. Pull all ends to the inside of the toy and trim to stay inside.
