EggHeads (an Easter Treat)
If you buy cage-free, free range, organic or farm fresh eggs like many folks these days, your eggs are probably brown. Great for chickens! Bad for dyeing Easter Eggs.
Forget the egg dye: Knit them hats instead!
Each hat takes me about half an hour from start to finish. You’ll need to be able to knit in the round and decrease. Nothing to it.
Not much on Easter? Eggs are available all year round. And the hats probably fit all kinds of toys too. Anything with an egg-sized noggin.
(You don’t even need to be able to knit in the round. You can work them flat and seam them up the back.)
