Daughter of the Greek sea god, Proteus, the nymph Eidothea was known for her knowledge and womanly curves. The multiple yarn overs in the lace create a flowing fabric with lots of room. Like the ocean, these socks will hug onto your skin comfortably without constraining or binding you.

This pattern is one of the beautiful patterns in the Big Foot Knits book by Andi Smith.
