The Eileen Beanie is crocheted using worsted weight yarn and a size J crochet hook. The design features three colors of cluster stitches and spike stitches done in stripes, and a ribbed brim. The finished slouchy beanie will measure 9 ½ inches from the top of the hat to the edge and should fit a head circumference between 18” and 23”. The beanie is topped with a purchased faux fur pompom. Hobby Lobby’s Yarn Bee Sugarwheel (a self-striping yarn) was used for this project, but any worsted weight yarn will work.
