This pattern is also available as part of My Basic Collection - Book 1: an Eco-friendly e-book with 5 patterns (Mimo, Poveira, Afago, Equinócio and Eira).

Eira is a seamless shawl knitted bottom-up with a beautiful lace stitch easily memorizable. The stockinette section is worked with shortened rows creating its crescent shape. Eyelets were added for the cast on and the bind-off edge both to decorate and prevent the shawl from curling.
This is one skein project – I’ve knitted it with less than 1 skein of Malabrigo sock.

I’ve donated €76 to the Associação Os Amigos dos Animais - Almada from the sales of Eira during its release month and My Basic Collection (since it was released until now). Thank you so much for helping, our four legs friends really appreciate it! 10.03.2012
