This pattern is a crochet beanie that appears knitted; instead uses a vintage crochet stitch which works up dense - careful concentration is advisable. The pattern is worked in continuous rounds from the bottom up. I recommend that a loose tension is used throughout in order to crochet your stitches easily. Use a stitch marker for the beginning of each round.
