This shawl is inspired by the different roads we take in life that bring us to unexpected events and encounters.

Designing this shawl has been the cause of a lot of introspection for me. I am happy I decided to name it “El Camino Shawl” as I often wonder if this is where I am supposed to be. In my heart I feel yes, but sometimes the mind likes to argue with the heart. ⁣

Despite all this I keep going. I feel that maybe questioning yourself lets you get to that uncomfortable place where everything looks like it is falling apart and then it all magically falls into place. ⁣⁣

This shawl is an ode to the path of life, the way we choose, the roads we travel. ⁣

This is a triangle shaped shawl, with a very easy to follow pattern that allows for mindless stockinette knitting combined with sections where you create a more intricate design using purls and knits. ⁣
