The shawl is garter stitch in 4 colors, with two-color cables joining the blocks of color, and a lace border knit sideways to the shawl, joined as you go. It uses fingering weight yarn, but could easily be made larger by using sport or worsted weight yarn and adjusting needles sizes accordingly.

This shawl is a great canvas to play with colors! Go sophisticated, neutral or make it scream your color sense! Use handspun or add in a variegated, tonal, or self-striping yarn. The large blocks of color can take whatever you want to throw at them. Use 4 colors or alternate two. Make it however you dream it.

I’d like to thank my wonderful test-knitters firstsister, Carlisa, and kscdesign. They greatly helped with clarification of the pattern. Thank you ladies!
