My favorite blanket size is perfect for lap, wheelchair users, just big enough to throw across the back of a recliner or use as an accent piece on the back of a couch!
This is a perfect scrap buster project! I’m using 9 skeins of leftover yarns. Your choice of color is totally up to you. It would look lovely and a single color or in two colors

Each time you make one of these it can be different and unique and beautiful! Some I ended with the shell row, and others I finished with a straight edge. The choice is yours.

I used worsted weight, medium weight,#4 yarn, but DK would be fine using recommended hook size for your urine or one size larger to make it drape. Smaller yarns would require more yardage. Wools or cotton blends would also work.

Pattern makes a 40”-44”blanket in worsted yarn. I like lap blanket, wheelchair blanket size. This would be perfect for a baby blanket! Use a single color, use an ombre, use it as a scrap buster project. All would be beautiful!
