I wanted to create a design that would be fun and stylish to wear for a walk in the country or a Sunday brunch date in town. A yummy blend of extrafine merino, cashmere, and royal alpaca makes the motifs pop. The Bell, Triple Cable, and Bobble Motif down the center was inspired by Gothic churches and architecture. This motif requires a raised increase stitch to make the bobbles and the upper loop of the top bell.

Finished Size 7” hand circumference and 11¼ “ long.

Yarn Rowan Finest (50%, merino, 30% alpaca, 20% cashmere; 95 yd 87 m/0.88 oz 25 g): #SH063 bliss, 2 skeins. Yarn distributed by Westminster Fibers.

Needles Size 3 (3.25 mm): set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); cable needle (cn); tapestry needle.
