This pattern was designed with my daughter in mind. I was making a replacement hat for one of her favorites she had received as a child but lost. I had not designed the one she lost and it did not have cables but the color was the same. However this yarn is much more elegant and the cables are thick and will make this hat very cozy to wear. Hence the name.
This pattern can also easily be adjusted by making the ribbing longer or adding more stitches and cables to make the hat wider for a slouchy fit. As well as longer.
