The “Elegant Charm” scarf is a lightweight and lacy basket weave crochet stitch pattern, fun to work up and quick as well. One skein will make a long scarf, due to openness of the pattern. The gauge is flexible, and the scarf also looks nice when a larger or smaller hooks is used. For the promo pics and in the app containing the animated pattern, we used Caron Simply Soft, but there are pics of the “Elegant Charm” in other yarns posted on the website. Almost any size 4 worsted yarn works well, although thick-and-thin yarns and variegated yarns with short color bursts tend to obscure the basket weave texture.
