The Elegant Ellen shawl is worked from the top-down using two colours of fingering weight yarn. I designed this shawl as a birthday gift for my friend Ellen’s 50th birthday. She is an accomplished and very elegant businesswoman, often dressed in high-end suits for important international meetings - often paired with Doc Martens boots. Just like Ellen, this shawl has an elegant base with playful notes to let her bubbly and fun personality shine through.
