Elektra, the Greek tragic heroine, was a member of a truly dysfunctional family. Her father Agamemnon, hero of the Trojan War, was murdered by her mother, Klytemnestra, and her mother’s lover. Elektra was then consumed with a burning desire to avenge her father’s death. This shawl was inspired by the fire of Elektra’s revenge on those who killed her father.

Triangular shawl is worked from the bottom up with lace edging applied after the main section is complete. Easily adjusted to fit the amount of yarn you have on hand. Skills required: garter stitch, simple lace (yo increases; k2tog and ssk decreases). Suitable for adventurous beginners and intermediate knitters.
