Please note that this pattern involves some amigurumi sculpting. In other words, indentation shaping around eyes, body (chubby rolls) tail and legs. Not needed but will look better with it. YouTube has many tutorials on how to do this.

This idea of mine actually started off with my seeking a pattern with an elephant that was holding a flower. When I couldn’t find one, I decided to make one up myself! I made my elephant to have rolls on its body, a chubby elephant if you will, and made a flower using little hearts as the pedals. I also made it so that 2 hearts can hang off of the flower as if she’s pulling them off and saying, he loves me, he loves me not. It can be pulled back into place and yarn tail gets wrapped behind flower.

I used my favorite yarn “I love this yarn” from Hobby Lobby in these colors: Hot Pink, Fruit Salad, light pink and turquoise. But can be made in other colors of your choice. I state in my pattern when to change colors.

My finished elephant is approximately 12” tall. But you can change size by either using a hook larger or smaller than the 3.75mm (F).
