I loved making the “Birthday Cake Cardi” so much that I decided to make a solid-colored, long-sleeved version! This one has a matching hat pattern (“Elf-Child Hat”). The name “Elf-Child” was suggested by Jayeyarns - who always has good ideas - so I decided it deserved its own pattern. All 3 patterns are available in the “Gingko Babies” eBook.

It is top-down, seamless, with lace patterns derived from the “Gingko Lace” stitch pattern. There are several charts to guide you through the Yoke Lace sections, but the instructions are also written.

The pattern can be made for finished chest sizes 17-31”, and is written to accommodate gauges of 16-20 sts per 4”.
