Santa’s Elves have hung up their stockings hoping for treats! A fun stash buster pattern for fingering weight yarn. Garland may be displayed horizontally or vertically. Each stocking is about 3 inches tall and 1 inch wide.

Materials:
Yarn: fingering weight, approximately 10 yards for each stocking; also fingering weight or sport yarn for the garland rope I-cord – amounts will vary depending on how long you’d like it. If you’d prefer to crochet the rope, worsted weight is recommended.
Needles: sz. 2 US set of 5 double points
Hook: sz. E US crochet hook for hanging loop; if crocheting the rope, sz. G US crochet hook
Yarn needle to weave in ends
