Our Elfin Whimsy Scarf is first in our Woodland Series. It is functional, as well as fun! It is a perfect pattern to utilize leftover skeins of yarn or to do a little stashbusting. Our example is created by using the remnants of 2 skeins of sock yarn; one solid and one variegated. The combination makes a visually appealing striped pattern. You can do this pattern in a solid or you can customize the stripes anyway you choose – have fun and make it your own! You can use any yarn, just use a needle size suitable for your yarn. The Elfin Whimsy Scarf is made with garter stitch and is easy to make. It knits up quickly and is ideal as a travel project or for simple knitting in front of the TV. We’ve added the order in which we placed our stripes if you would like to follow our placement – but the choice is totally yours and this pieces is fully customizable – you can choose to stop at any time or keep knitting until you run out of yarn!
