Ces chaussettes demandent un peu d’expérience avec les chaussettes commencées par le bout, et aussi avec le jacquard. Le jacquard étant moins extensible qu’un tricot ordinaire, il est normal de se soucier aussi de la grosseur de la cheville et du bas de la jambe. La dernière page donne un aperçu des techniques utilisées pour faire ce patron qui est tout, sauf ordinaire.
Fourniture
Laine grosseur no 1(fingering): 60 à 70 g de couleur principale (cp), 50 à 60 g de couleur contrastante (cc). J’ai utilisé de la Versatile de Créartlaine, 384 mètres/115 g, et un autre 100g de laine non-teinte pour la couleur contrastante (cc): Il m’en est resté, évidemment.
Une aiguille circulaire d’au moins 60 cm/32’’ et de :
Pour le petit, moyen et grand : 2.50 mm ou pour un échantillon de 37 m X 37 rgs.
Pour le extra-grand : 2.75 mm ou pour un échantillon de 36 m X 36 rgs.
N.B. L’extra-grand est obtenu en suivant la grille du grand, mais en grossissant l’aig.
Grandeurs (avec les échantillons mentionnés)
Petit (femme) : Longueur pied, 19cm/7.5’’, largeur, 20cm/8’’, largeur de jambe (sous le mollet) : jusqu’à 30 cm/12’’.
Moyen (femme) : Longueur pied, 22cm/8.75’’, largeur, 22cm/8.75’’, largeur jambe (sous le mollet) : jusqu’à 33 cm/13’’.
Grand (femme) : Longueur pied : 24cm/9.5’’, largeur, 24 cm/9.5’’, largeur jambe (sous le mollet) : jusqu’à 36 cm/14’’.
Extra-grand, avec les 2.75 mm : Longueur pied : 25 cm/10’’, largeur, 26.5 cm/10.5’’, largeur jambe (sous le mollet) : jusqu’à environ 38 cm/15’’.

Those socks need a little bit of experience with toes up socks, and also with stranded knitting. Stranded is less extensible than stockinette stitch. So, it is normal to care about ankle size and bottom of leg. Last page give tips and techniques to make this pattern that is all but ordinary.
You’ll need
