This is a hooded cape made in Tunisian crochet. Increments are made with yarn over, and afterwards I’ve decorated the hood by threading cords through the holes. The cape has the same weight as a sweater of the same size.

It is easy to modify the pattern for smaller or larger sizes. If wanted, you can make the cape longer, so that it becomes a cloak.

Regarding sizing: Select a size that has the same or a larger hat size than the intended wearer. The collar should be approximately 5 cm = 2 inches wider than the neck of the intended wearer. The shoulder width is intended to be approximately 140% of the chest width of a sweater in the corresponding size.

Campfire
The autumn moon is rising over the trees.
Without the warming sun, the evening quickly gets chilly.
Friends cuddle up around the fire,
talking about things they like,
singing songs that bring back memories.
