Our latest Studio Club design was created by Carina Spencer using gorgeous Becoming Art yarn. “Ellis” is a modern take on classic aran cables … a richly textured, double-breasted cowl that can be worn two ways. When knit in a tonal hand-dyed yarn, like Becoming Art, the hollows and highlights of the cables pattern really come to life! (Sample shown in the ‘Hana’ colorway.)

For this design, Carina chose Becoming Art Yarns Pure Aran. Soft and cozy against the skin, Pure Aran is a three-ply, ultra fine organic merino. Becoming Art is an independent yarn company from Washington, which dyes some of the most amazing yarns we’ve ever seen!

When you purchase the “Ellis” Studio Club package, you will receive the “Ellis” pattern, two skeins of Becoming Art Pure Aran in your choice of : ‘Soft Wheat’, ‘Stone of Tears’ and ‘Hana’ (shown left to right) and elegant buttons!
